Lakefront                                                                                                   Facility Weddings                  Location, Location, Location;    Lakefront wedding and reception venues are very few and difficult to find.  For that reason and more, this particular facility is destined to become one of the most sought after locations for weddings, as well as, other party/convention activities. 

                                           This particular facility operated for decades as one of Tahoe's finest restaurants.  Recently, the restaurant owner decided to retire and to rent the entire facility to parties, small, medium and large, one group at a time. 

To illustrate the popularity of this previously operated restaurant, after the highly secretive Tahoe wedding of actor Tom Selleck in 1987 (Married at The Dream-Maker's Wedding Chapel) his reception dinner was held here.

With many facilities claiming a lake view (many looking across a highway, or a view filtered through a forest of trees) this location is so close to the water that if you fell out of a window you could actually fall into the lake! 

Note: The wedding photos below were extracted from a video tape, so their quality is not up to the high photo standards that The Dream-Maker holds for its wedding couples and their package wedding photo sessions.  Also, the decorated floral trellis and the floral sprays are package upgrades, see florist link for floral possibilities. 

Located shoreside, this compartmentalized, three room facility (see diagram below) can accommodate the ceremony, in one room (seating for approximately 50 people), the reception lunch/dinner in another and, with a rented dance floor, dancing in still another.  For dining capacity all three rooms hold 105 people (left-room - 50 table-seated, mid-room 25 table-seated, right-room 30 table-seated) .

No longer a restaurant, but outfitted with a state of the art kitchen, catering is a very viable and encouraged option (but not required), allowing a single location for both a wedding and reception.

Decoration of the site could be customized by your Dream-Maker wedding coordinator (trellis, floral sprays, table bouquets, etc.).

Below is a cost list of rental fees and catering possibilities.  Customizing menus are also encouraged.  The Dream-Maker Lake Tahoe will be happy to set you up with the caterer for personalized service.

All Below packages Include: The following ceremonies include the minister, music, your coordinator. Depending on the package chosen, 20 minutes of coordination is provided before event and anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, the day of event. The Sapphire Package

Our most popular package! This package includes everything in the Sapphire and more! * Photo Packages include a choice of cameras from 36 photos taken on the Digital Nikon and sent to you, or 24 exposures taken on 35mm Nikon film camera with undeveloped roll given to couple, at completion of wedding, to develop and print. 

1. 36x Photos taken on Digital Camera and sent to you in the form of one set of 3.5x 5 prints. This is great for busy couples... as well as the other benefit; that couples don't have to be responsible for printing (time and money) for friends and family whom can now view and/or buy their own from the Internet.  With this camera/package there are more choices (pictures) than the 35mm film camera with its 24 exposures.  One set of 3.5x 5 prints will be sent to couple and then the photos will be published to an Internet page (link to page emailed to couple whom may decide to pass on link to friends and family) so they too can view.  If friends and family like they can order their own set/s, or individual photos, i.e., 8x10's, or 5x7's of particular photographs.   Cost of addition prints; 11x14 @ $65.00, 8x10 @ $22.50, 5x7 @ $12.50, 4x6 @ $8.50, plus $20.00 postage (Fed-Ex) and handling. Full set of 3.5x 5 prints (for folks, etc.) are $55.00, if ordered prior to the first printing, otherwise they are $75.00 per complete set.  (Larger Sizes Available)  Minimum order $30.00. 

2. 24x Exposures on Professional 35mm Film Camera.  For couples trying to save money, who don't mind doing the footwork and cost for photos for friends and family copies.  The film will be professionally taken, with great equipment and then given to couple to develop and print.  The savings are that the couple can print as many copies as they wish for a lower cost.  Unless otherwise requested, the 35mm film option is the default in the Sapphire or Crystal Waters packages.

* Special: If you have ordered a Sapphire or a Crystal Waters package with 24x, 35 film photos, you can upgrade to 36x, 35mm photos for only $50.00, plus tax, which this upgrade is usually a $175 value.                 Back to packages

Due to the nature of your wedding package, all payments paid the The Dream-Maker® and Dream-Maker's vendor network are nonrefundable. However, payments paid directly to The Dream-Maker® for Dream-Maker products and services are transferable to a new date up to one year from the original date booked. Perishable items (i.e. flowers, cakes) are rebooked at an additional expense to the client.
